Understanding Your Options

Dear Vee,

This is not what I intended to drop this week, but my heart felt like I needed to drop it now before it separated from my mind. Vee, I want you to know and understand that different opportunities will always come your way. I also need you to know that these opportunities will come with options. In life, people will sometime feel like they are stuck, or their options are limited. I want you to know that no matter how bad things may seem, you will always have an opportunity to separate yourself from something that will serve you no purpose. I don't ever want you to feel like you have to deal with a situation because that is your only option. I pray that I can instill in you, that as long as your intentions are pure, then God will always provide you with the resources to keep guiding you to your true success.

Life can be sour at times, but when you have sugar and water to mix it with, you end up making something out of nothing. Always use what you have and never force yourself to use what is potentially pushed on you. If you ever feel stuck, I pray that you find someone to go to and help clear your mind. I don't ever want you to settle for what is in front of you if it was never intended for you. Whatever is meant for you will always be for you. Do not ever settle for what is less then you deserve because when you move past that limitation, you will see the blessing and the deliverance. One day I hope to have the heart to tell you the different options that I had to move away from and the tears that I shed in the process, but every tear that I shed ended up being a smile that connected me closer to my true destiny. I promise to surround you with people who will love you and cherish you because they want to, and they have the pure intentions to help me guide you to a powerful, beautiful woman. Today you have finally sat by yourself, which is another milestone that I will forever cherish. You are my baby girl, and as long as there is life in my body, I will always be there for each one of your milestones.

In the last week, I have been having this argument with this guy about soul mate. I asked myself that for everyone who passed away young, what happens to their soul mate who is still living on earth. He referenced me back to the movie "Down to Earth" with the main character Chris Rock. If you have a chance, watch it. After watching that movie, I started asking everyone, is your soulmate a choice that you make? Many people believed it was a choice, and the guy I was talking to have been arguing about it being a choice. In my opinion, I do not believe it is a choice. If you were able to choose who your soul mate is, why is it not the perfect guy or the fairy tale women you always dreamed about. I feel like everyone ends up going after what they think they want, but the different obstacles we go through will lead us to where we need to be.

I don't know what the real concept of having a soul mate means because I feel like I still have a lot to learn, but I have seen many people lose their romantic partners. In movies, these same people end up with what they consider their real soul mate, and some people end up living the rest of their lives with nobody because their true love was the person who passed away. I have also seen men and women in an abusive relationship fighting to make it work, and as soon as they let go, I realized that their next love cherishes them and provided them with everything they dreamed of.

In the bible, it states that Eve was created from Adam's ribs. If we are talking from a biblical standpoint, each person's soulmate was made when God was forming you in the womb. If that is the case, then I do not believe that your soulmate is a choice. I think that different options will come your way, and you will choose what you want to deal with, but eventually, what is meant for you will make its way to you.

So, my love, this discussion can go on, and each person will have their own opinion on it. I just want you to understand that you should never settle for what is beneath you because what is meant for you will always be at your level. Never look at situations as if its the end but understand that you are almost ready for the next chapter, and God is preparing your strength. You will concur it all, my darling, even when you feel defeated, you have concurred it because you kept moving. So always remember that your options are only limited because you want it to be. If you're going to dominate all of your obstacles, you will keep pushing and concur whatever you set your mind too. Keep moving and understand that you will always have an option to make your way out. Don't ever settle with what is in front of you but follow the path less taken and create a destiny that will impact you and your future generation.

Do you feel like your soulmate is a choice made by you?

  1. No, I believe that everyone has his or her own soulmate designed for them. Some find their soulmate some don’t.

Your soulmate Is the perfect person made for you. If we got to choose our perfect person we all would be single.
